Famous for both its main courses and its pastry, Liu Chang Xing serves authentic Nanjing dishes.

QI FANG GE RESTAURANT (20-min drive)
Established in 1920, Qi Fang Ge Restaurant is reputable for making traditional Nanjing food. The four most famous dishes are Duck Sesame Cake, Shredded Dried Tofu with Pepper Oil, Assorted Stuffing Dumpling and Shredded Chicken Noodles.

CONFUCIUS TEMPLE (20-min drive)
Originally constructed in the year of 1034 in the Song Dynasty, the Confucius Temple was a place to worship and consecrate Confucius, the great philosopher and educator of ancient China.

NANJING MUSEUM (20-min drive)
Divided into different sections, the museum shows the full history of the city of Nanjing, with a large variety of interactive exhibitions.

QINHUAI RIVER SCENIC AREA (20-min drive)
A branch of the Yangtze River, Qinhuai River is the largest river in Nanjing and is also known as the ‘life blood’ of the city. There are ferry rides along the Qinhuai River that can serve to let passengers marvel at the sights on both sides of the river.

CHENGDU CULTURE PARK (15-min by drive)
Home to the Pavilion of the Eight Trigrams (Bagua Ting), with its eight stone pillars and intricate carvings of dragons and other symbols from Chinese culture, the Chengdu Culture Park is also where you'll find the Shufeng Sichuan Opera House. One of the city's most important cultural destinations, it is home to numerous regular performances of traditional Chinese music and theatre.

WANGJIANG PAVILION PARK (15-min drive)
Wangjiang Pavilion Park is notable for its splendid 30-meter-tall River Watching Tower. Built in 1889, the attraction features the famous old fountain from the Tang period of AD 618-907 from which the poetess Xue Tao is said to have drawn the water used to produce the unique red paper on which she wrote, and which to this day still bears her name.

PURPLE MOUNTAIN, PURPLE CLOUDS 

Towering in the eastern suburb of Nanjing, Purple Mountain (Zhongshan Mountain National Park) has been known as one of the most famous mountains in Southern China. It got its name because purple clouds can often be seen at the top of the mountain. The mountain is not only beautiful, but also rich in historical and cultural relics.
