Eco-conscious housekeeping
As part of our commitment to environmental conservation, we have made reducing housekeeping frequency a standard practice to prioritise water and energy conservation wherever possible.
As an international provider of serviced apartments and hotels, we understand our responsibility towards the environment and are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint.
On this page, we will provide you with insights into the sustainability strategy of our parent company, Frasers Hospitality, and highlight some of the initiatives we have implemented at our properties to promote eco-friendliness. We also believe that our guests have a vital role to play in ensuring sustainable tourism, and we have compiled a list of tips for you to be a green guest during your stay with us.
Join us in our efforts to preserve our planet for future generations, and together, let's make a positive impact on our environment.
Frasers Hospitality has implemented a Sustainability Framework that sets out our priorities as a group through to 2030, driven by three pillars: Acting Progressively, Consuming Responsibly, and Focusing on People.
The company has also established five sustainability goals that will guide our business to 2050, including becoming a net-zero carbon corporation, becoming climate-resilient, green-certifying 80% of its owned and managed assets, financing its sustainable asset portfolios with green and sustainable financing, and training all employees on sustainability by 2021.

At our properties across the United Kingdom, we have implemented a range of sustainability measures. We are committed to making a positive impact on the environment and continuously strive to improve our sustainability practices.

Our cleaning system uses just tap water, electricity and oxygen, significantly reducing the number of chemicals entering our rivers.

Our long-stay welcome gifts are all full of locally sourced items, and we plant a tree for every gift given to our guests.
We're excited to introduce our new storm-proof, sustainable umbrellas made from recycled materials by Dripdrop. For every umbrella which is hired, a tree is planted with Eden Reforestation Projects.
Supporting the local community
We understand that our commitment to sustainability goes beyond eco-friendly measures. We also strive to embody our social values through sustainable initiatives and meaningful charity collaborations. This year, we took a significant step towards reducing our environmental footprint by replacing our bedding with an eco-friendly alternative. Our new bedding is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and is free from animal derivatives. To further our efforts, Frasers Hospitality donated the old duvets to local charities across the UK.
There are many ways to reduce your environmental impact when visiting the United Kingdom, and we've compiled some of our favourites here. From packing lightly to choosing sustainable transportation options, read on for ways you can help make your travel more eco-friendly.
One easy way to be more environmentally friendly when travelling is to pack lightly. This not only saves on space in your luggage, but it also cuts down on fuel consumption from the airplane or car.
If you are flying, consider offsetting the carbon emissions from your flight by planting trees or investing in renewable energy projects. And if you are driving, try carpooling or renting a hybrid or electric car. Both help reduce your carbon footprint.
Consider renting an electric vehicle if a car is required. The electric car has established itself as a popular choice for many travellers because it is eco-friendlier and more cost-effective than petrol vehicles.
This includes everything from eating at locally owned restaurants to shopping at farmers markets and small shops. Not only does this boost the local economy, but it also reduces your environmental impact by cutting down on transportation emissions.
Eating at locally owned restaurants is another great way to enjoy sustainable travel. Not only will you find some of the best food this way, but you will also get a chance to support families and business owners in the area.
Wherever you go, take your reusable water bottle, coffee cup or metal straw with you to cut down on waste. Not only will this save you money, but it will also help reduce the number of single-use plastics in circulation.
