Duty Manager

You are responsible for the property’s operations in the absence of key executive personnel. You will supervise a team of Guest Services Agents, Concierge and Porters to ensure that all front of house and guests services processes are handled in accordance to the prescribed standards to achieve maximum guests’ satisfaction. You will also work closely with the Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Reservations and Finance departments to achieve maximum guests’ satisfaction.

Responsibility:

  • Plan and roster the Guest Services Agents shift.
  • Follow the policy and procedures with regards to guest handling and service processes in order to ensure the welfare of guest and property.
  • Ensure that all guests’ feedbacks and requests are attended to promptly.
  • Ensure that check-in and check-out procedures are handled smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all payments received are in order.
  • Ensure staffs are working responsibly and efficiently.
  • Maintain staff morale and discipline.
  • Log and communicate all incidents to the General Manager and relevant Department

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
