Frasers Hospitality 's International Brand Presence Recognised

Winner of Inaugural CitiBusiness-SPBA Regional Brand Award 2006

Singapore , 28 November 2006 – Frasers Hospitality (Frasers), an international branded serviced residence management company with premier residences in major gateway cities worldwide, is today recognised with the inaugural CitiBusiness-SPBA Regional Brand Award 2006, for having successfully established a significant brand presence overseas.
The award is a new category within the Singapore Promising Brand Award (SPBA), launched earlier this year. Sponsored wholly by CitiBusiness (a unit of Citibank Singapore Ltd), the award acknowledges past and present SPBA and Heritage Brand Award winners who have achieved breakthrough in at five foreign markets. These are Singapore brands that have demonstrated effectiveness in transferring their brand essence abroad while remaining true to their brands' core values.
For Frasers, being the only hospitality company to win this regional brand award is a significant milestone achieved. The Fraser Collection of Serviced Residences worldwide now numbers 16 with a presence in more than nine cities, while our inventory has grown to about 3,000 units in our portfolio, from the 413-apartment residence in 1998 when we began with our flagship properties in Singapore , Fraser Suites River Valley and Fraser Place Robertson Walk.
“The Frasers brand philosophy and also our promise, ‘Where you're more than just a guest', is captured in a lot of our residents' testimonials and letters to us, that they really feel like a family and not just a guest. This means that at every Frasers' serviced residence, residents testify that they consistently experience the same insightful, intuitive and customised service in having their unique needs met, no matter how personal or small,” says Mr. Choe Peng Sum, Chief Operating Officer, Frasers Hospitality.

In extending Frasers' international footprints, the company announced the sign-ups for another 14 more Fraser brand of Serviced Residences in 10 cities in 2006 alone. Frasers also opened four new properties in London , Paris , Seoul and Sydney this year – Fraser Place Queens Gates, Le Claridge Champs-Élysées, Fraser Place Central and Fraser Suites Sydney respectively.
Plans are now underway to venture into India and increase our footprints in China , the Middle East and Europe .
